1. U.S. scope
This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for Human Life Labs, Inc.’s corporate website and associated direct correspondence. State privacy statutes differ in coverage, definitions, exemptions, rights, and response periods. A person’s state of residence alone does not mean every state statute applies to every business. Our California Privacy Notice supplies the California-specific disclosures.
The documents are written for a United States audience. They do not describe separate products, clinical services, employee programs, or a portfolio company’s processing. Nothing here waives a right that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
2. Rights that may apply
Depending on the applicable state law, you may be entitled to confirm processing, access personal information, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, or opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling producing legal or similarly significant effects. Some laws also provide rights concerning sensitive data, authorized agents, or an appeal of a denied request. Exceptions may apply for legal obligations, security, or other protected purposes.
For this website, we do not sell data, conduct targeted advertising, or perform such profiling. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data or build health-interest profiles. Privacy requests can still concern an email you sent, technical processing, or another relevant record. We do not require you to create an account to make a request.
3. How to make a request
Write to contact@humanlifelabs.com. Include your state of residence, the right you want to exercise, and the relevant interaction or record. Send only information reasonably needed to explain the request. If a law requires identity verification, we will use proportionate steps rather than require unrelated sensitive information.
We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension. If we decline a request, we provide a reason where required and explain an available appeal route. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
4. Appeals and complaints
Where an appeal right applies, reply to the decision or email contact@humanlifelabs.com with the subject “Privacy appeal.” Identify the decision and briefly explain why you ask us to reconsider. We review the appeal and respond within the applicable legal deadline with the result and reasons.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general or another competent U.S. privacy authority. For an example of a state’s statutory request and appeal process, see the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. The example does not assert that Virginia law covers this company or your request.
5. Browser signals and health information
Universal opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control where recognized, are consistent with our current no-sale/no-targeted-advertising practice. See Your Privacy Choices. Essential site delivery or security is separate from advertising processing.
Health-related privacy obligations can apply independently of a general state privacy statute or HIPAA. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice explains this corporate website’s current handling of health information and how to raise a concern.
